Flag Lowering for David Thorndike
The UNO flag will be lowered for UNO retiree David Thorndike who recently passed away.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Thursday, June 28, 2018, in memory of UNO retiree David M. Thorndike. David passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 and was 78 years old at the time of his death.
During his time at UNO, David was a professor in Geography/Geology until his retirement in 2006. He continued working as a lecturer after his retirement until 2015.
David is survived by his loving companion of over 30 years; Claudia Head, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
