UNO organization “Room at our Table” invites members of the Omaha community to join them Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6 - 8 P.M. at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village for a community picnic.

Participants are invited to pack a picnic, bring a blanket and join others in a gathering of welcome. Student organizers say this is an opportunity for the community to get to know our neighbors, engage in conversation and build relationships.

“Room at our Table” was established to counter negative perceptions about refugee families in Nebraska, and their latest campaign recently placed third in a national competition.
