Nearly 150 Mavericks Join Summit Academic Honor Roll
The Summit League announced the 2017-18 Academic Honor Roll today, a list that included 147 student-athletes from Omaha Athletics.

To earn the honor, student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average for the year and have used at least one season of eligibility.
Swimming and diving led the way for UNO with 25 members of the team named to the Academic Honor Roll. Women's golf had all six team members named to the Honor Roll. In all, more than 56 percent of UNO's 260 student-athletes earned the honor.
South Dakota led the league in total honorees with 207 followed by South Dakota State (194) and North Dakota State (157). The Mavericks were fourth.

The Summit League will announce the members of the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence on Thursday.
