UNO Omaha's Choice for Third Consecutive Year

OMAHA – For the third year in a row, voters have put the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) at the top of the Omaha's Choice Awards' College/University category.

The Omaha World-Herald released the results of its third annual Omaha's Choice Awards on Tuesday, July 3.

The awards allowed readers of the state's most widely-circulated newspaper to choose their favorites in 193 categories, which range from restaurants to home contractors.

UNO's ranking reflects its strong connection with Omaha. Since its founding in 1908, UNO has been firmly anchored in the community, forging partnerships with business, education, government, arts and civic organizations.
