In November, the Faculty Senate approved the STEM Teaching, Research, and Inquiry Based Learning Center (STEM TRAIL Center), a jointly-managed center of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education, and Information Science and Technology. The STEM Center is built on the premise of research as a pedagogy.
Numerous impressive STEM efforts are underway on campus and this new center will further link these collaborative, multi-disciplinary efforts and allow us to move to the next level. We continue to break down the silos of STEM.
