Regents to Consider Dr. Gold's UNO Appointment

The regents will meet at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. The 11 A.M. meeting is open to the public and will be audio-streamed live here.
President Hank Bounds, Ph.D., named Dr. Gold as the priority candidate for chancellor on Nov. 5. As required by state law, Dr. Gold's selection has undergone a 30-day public vetting period that included open forums at UNO and feedback opportunities for stakeholders.
If approved by the board, Dr. Gold would serve as UNO chancellor until June 30, 2022. He also will continue to serve as UNMC chancellor.
