The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 in memory of UNO student Julia Derrick.
Julia passed away on Sept. 23, 2018. She was 61 years old at the time of her passing.
During her time at UNO, Julia was a Political Science graduate student.
Julia is survived by her mother Barbara Derrick, brother, Charles (Marlene) Derrick; nieces Amanda (Adam) Dettweiler and Laurel (Alex) McNeill.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Julia’s loved ones during this difficult time.
