The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 in memory of UNO employee Roxann Freeman.
Roxann passed away on Jan. 6, 2019. She was 68 years old at the time of her passing.
While at UNO, Roxann was the clerical assistant for Athletics up until her death. She had been with UNO for 14 years.
She is survived by her son Joe Wiegand and his wife Desiree. Her daughter Patricia Urbanovsky. Sisters Judy Lepert and her husband Ralph, Shirley Vidlak and her husband Frank; as well as her grandchildren Haley, Lucas, Trevor and Connor.
Roxann’s service will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Bernard Catholic Church (65th & Military Ave.)
