UNO faculty and staff that have the University’s medical or dental coverage should have received new ID cards from UMR (medical / Rx) and Ameritas (dental) in December.
If you did not receive new cards, perhaps there was an issue with your address. Please check your address in Firefly – Employee Self Service to make sure it is up to date. If you did not receive your card(s), please call UMR (medical) at 1-844-659-5059 or Ameritas (dental) at 1-800-487-5553 to request a new copy be sent to you.
The University changed its medical and dental providers as of Jan. 1, 2019, so your Blue Cross Blue Shield cards are no longer valid and you should present your UMR or Ameritas cards then next time you see your doctor or dentist.
