Karima Goodman, Office Assistant within the College of Education's Teacher Education Department, was recently named UNO’s Employee of the Month for January.
The Celebration Committee surprised Karima with the award and refreshments on Jan. 4, 2019.
Karima was nominated by her peers for her attention to detail and willingness to help others.
They said, “She is friendly and helpful to all; faculty, staff and students. Karima demonstrates respectfulness in her interactions with others. Her smile can move mountains!”
They continue, “Karima’s unwavering attention to detail ensures that everything she does is done well and with precision. Without her, this office would be lost.”
For being nominated as Employee of the Month, Karima will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event and use of a designated parking space.
