Flag Lowering for Anna Sommers

The UNO flag will be lowered for UNO retiree Anna Sommers who recently passed away.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 in memory of UNO retiree Anna Sommers.

Anna passed away on Jan. 31, 2019. She was 65 years old at the time of her passing.

While at UNO, Anna worked as a food service tech in Food Services from Aug. 1990 until her retirement in July of 2002.

Anna is survived by her husband John, her daughter Bambi Polak and brother Roy Suput.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Anna’s loved ones during this difficult time.
