The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in memory of UNO employee Dave Wintle.
Wintle passed away on Feb. 14, 2019. He was 51 years old at the time of his passing.
While at UNO, Wintle was an hourly worker within the Public Safety Department. He worked there from Nov. 2018 until Feb. 2019.
Wintle is survived by his wife Jami; four children, Rachel, Christian, Zachary and Skylar; Mother Jan and sisters Christine Rader and Terri Newton.
Memorials are suggested to the Douglas County Sheriff’s K9 unit or Town and Country Humane Society.
