Joe Hayes, Assistant Director of Employer Relations in the Academic and Career Development Center, was recently named UNO’s Employee of the Month for February.
The Celebration Committee surprised Joe with the award and refreshments on Feb. 5, 2019.
Joe was nominated by his peers for his rich experience and dedication to office clients.
They said, “Joe has now been with ACDC for almost four years, having come to the office with prior knowledge of career advising and career centers. His rich experience coupled with his desire to learn new skills and share new insights makes him a strong team member and a valuable asset to have on the ACDC team.”
They continue, “Joe’s main responsibility in the office is maintaining strong relationships with the many employers that hope to hire UNO students. His responsive communication with employers is something much appreciated and is a big reason why our UNO employers are so happy.”
For being nominated as Employee of the Month, Joe will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
