University Communications offers integrated, client-focused marketing, communications, media relations, and key event support services to faculty, staff and organizations across UNO's campuses.

Makayla McMorris was hired as Executive Director of University Communications in December of 2018.

McMorris was attracted to the position because it gives her an opportunity to use and grow her skills in a wide variety of ways.

In its first 5 years, University Communications worked very hard on internal messaging and branding within the university. Now McMorris is excited to expand that messaging and branding externally, both regionally and nationally.
