As part of a University of Nebraska systemwide refresh, University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) letterhead, business cards and envelopes now have a new look.
The internal update, effective Monday, March 11, better highlights each campus icon – in UNO’s case, the red and black “O.”
The refresh emerged from the Budget Response Team process to better align the NU campuses and allow easier cobranding in cases of shared or dual roles across campuses.
A team with members from all four campuses developed the look in collaboration with campus print shops. As part of the process, the team audited paper use and explored opportunities for more competitive pricing. Benefits of the refreshed stationery include standardized paper use, long-term savings in bulk purchasing and collective buying power.
“This is a smart, budget-conscious refresh that was long overdue,” said Makayla McMorris, executive director of UNO’s Office of University Communications. “These guidelines hadn’t been touched in over a decade and as we all collaborate more, we needed a look that gave us the flexibility to reflect that collaboration.”
Offices and departments are encouraged to use the stationery material they have in stock before ordering new stationery. For questions on how to order the new stationery, please contact UNMC Printing Services.
