In accordance with a proclamation from President Donald J. Trump, Governor Pete Ricketts has announced that all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in honor or Police Officers Memorial Day.
Police Officers Memorial Day and Police Week were created to express the unending gratitude to our Nation’s law enforcement officers; the brave men and women who selflessly confront danger to protect our families and defend our communities, as well as those who were killed or disabled in the line of duty.
Flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
