Renata's impressions on the role of student president weren't as she had expected. The roles of student regent and student body president are completely different and it was good to have a summer to figure them out.
-
The balance between student, student body president and student athlete were a challenge to figure out. Renata went in with the idea of she was only a student athlete while at practice, at Board of Regents meetings she focused only on her role as student body president, in class she was solely a student, etc.
-
What she is most proud of as her time as Student Body President is the work that they've helped lay for future Student Governments by revising the bylaws.
