The two finalists for UNO’s open Director of State and Community Relations position have been announced.
Victoria Kohout, executive director of the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures and Research Nebraska, Inc., and Jason Prokop, external affairs manager for the Nebraska Department of Transportation, are under consideration for the position.
The Director of State and Community Relations is responsible for building lasting relationships with state and local government officials, legislative leaders, and legislative staff. Additionally, the role will work to establish and maintain positive organizational representation within the community through community outreach programs and other activities.
The identification of the finalists follows a rigorous search process that continues this week with another round of campus meetings and interviews.
Meet-and-greet opportunities, open to the campus community at large, will be scheduled after a candidate is hired.
