Kamrin Baker Named Gateway's Editor-in-Chief

Kamrin Baker is the new editor-in-chief of the Gateway – the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) official student-run newspaper – for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Kamrin has worked at the Gateway since January 2017, serving first as a contributor, then promoted to an online reporter and digital editor, before being selected as editor-in-chief of the bi-weekly campus newspaper.
Kamrin is a journalism and media communications student with a concentration in journalism. She is also a women’s and genders studies minor, getting a certificate in gender and leadership. She's currently a senior who is also involved in UNO PRSSA, and is currently interning at Omaha Performing Arts.
The editor-in-chief position is a one-year term. Kamrin is responsible for the operation of the newspaper, including budget, staffing and newsroom workflow. She will also assist in curating UNO Gateway's Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts, as well as maintaining the newspaper’s daily website with the help of a complete staff of student editors and contributors.

The Gateway is the official student newspaper of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). It is published weekly during fall and spring semesters with the exception of university holidays and exam periods. We have proudly served the UNO community since 1913.
