UNO Names Lindsay Linson Employee of the Month

Lindsay Linson, Triage Specialist within Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), was recently named UNO’s Employee of the Month for August.

The Celebration Committee surprised Lindsay with the award and refreshments on August 12, 2019.

Lindsay was nominated by her peers for her adaptability and attention to detail.

They said, “Lindsay manages a, sometimes very demanding, population to get their needs met in a time of crisis. She is the first contact in our office and the students are all familiar with her welcoming nature, flexibility, and the effort to recall their names.”

They continue, “Lindsay is able to plan for emergencies allowing staff to conduct immediate business away from the office. She is ready to put forth more than the parameters of her job description for staff cohesion and student satisfaction.”

For being nominated as Employee of the Month, Lindsay will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event and use of a designated parking space. The Staff Advisory Council congratulated Lindsay by providing snacks and fare for the Employee of the Month to enjoy with peers and department members in celebration.
