MaverickPR Earns Top PRSSA Student Firm Award
The chapter has won a Teahan National Award for the past decade including "Outstanding Chapter."

MaverickPR won the F.H. Teahan Outstanding Firm Award, which it also earned in 2017.
Ten members from UNO PRSSA attended the international conference from Oct. 18 - 22 including seniors Journee Trimble, MaverickPR director and Kaitlin Mason, assistant director.
“I am thankful for the alums who helped build MaverickPR into what it is today,” Trimble said. “It feels great to have our work recognized at the national level.”
Mars Nevada, MaverickPR creative director and vice president of creative services for UNO PRSSA, earned national recognition by receiving the Gary Yoshimura Scholarship, awarded to those pursuing higher education in the public relations field.
The chapter has won a Teahan National Award for the past decade including Outstanding Chapter in 2015. The chapter has also earned Star Chapter designation for more than a decade, which meets PRSSA national standards for professional development and community service.
