Student Ticket Error at Nov. 8 Hockey Game

Refunds will be given through Friday, Dec. 5, to any students with proper identification and supporting documentation.

Due to a ticketing error, some UNO students who had their MavCARD may have been wrongly asked to pay for admission to the Omaha Mavericks hockey game against Wisconsin on Friday, Nov. 8.

The Baxter Arena and Omaha Athletics staff apologize for the confusion and are dedicated to ensuring any students who may have been inconvenienced have the opportunity to obtain a refund for any ticket charges incurred because of this error.

Any student who believes they may have been improperly charged for access to the hockey game on Friday, Nov. 8, against Wisconsin are asked to stop by the Baxter Arena Box Office during normal ticketing hours, Monday through Friday, 10 A.M. – 6 P.M., with the following:

  • Current MavCARD

  • Method of payment for purchasing their ticket(s)

  • Issued ticket stub(s) – if possible

Refunds will be given through Friday, Dec. 5, to any students with proper identification and supporting documentation.
