The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 in memory of UNO retiree James Fawcett.
James passed away on Jan. 25, 2020. He was 87 years old at the time of his passing.
While at UNO, James worked as an associate professor in the Biology Department from Aug. 1972 until his retirement in Aug. 2015.
James is survived by his wife Georgene Fawcett who is also a UNO retiree.
Our thoughts and condolences are with James’ loved ones during this difficult time.
