The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020 in memory of UNO retiree Russell Palmer.
Russell passed away on Jan. 11, 2020. He was 83 years old at the time of his passing.
While at UNO, Russell was a professor in Philosophy and Religion from Sept. 1965 up until his retirement in Sept. of 2002.
Russell is survived by his wife Laurie Nettelmann.
