On-Campus Student Employment Moving to Handshake

All on-campus student jobs and work study positions are now advertised exclusively in Handshake.

Human Resources (HR) and the Academic & Career Development Center (ACDC) are collaborating to make all opportunities for student employment easier to find.

Beginning on Jan. 2, 2020, all on-campus student jobs and work study positions will be advertised exclusively in Handshake. This means Handshake will become your one-stop-shop for identifying all on-campus and off-campus jobs and internships.

When applying for a UNO on-campus job in Handshake, applicants will re-directed to the UNO Jobs Portal to fill out an application. Advertisements for on-campus student employment positions will no longer be found on the UNO HR site.

Students: To access on-campus jobs in Handshake, visit unomaha.joinhandshake.com and login with your NetID and password. Once logged in, click on the “Jobs” tab at the top followed by the “On-Campus” button.

Staff: Please continue the regular requisition process in PeopleAdmin for student positions. All changes related to this transition are handled on the backend in HR.
