UNO Names Kirsten Case Employee of the Month

Kirsten Case, Community Liaison for the Service Learning Academy, was recently named UNO’s Employee of the Month for March.

The Celebration Committee surprised Kirsten with the award and refreshments on March 3, 2020.

Kirsten was nominated by her peers for her seamless work and customer service with clients.

They said, “Kirsten works tirelessly to create authentic partnerships with community organizations so that she can connect UNO faculty and community organizations in service learning partnerships. Last year, she worked with approximately 125 community organizations to develop 208 service learning courses at UNO. This is the highest ever number of service learning courses offered at UNO.”

They continue, “Kirsten works independently and within the team seamlessly. She is extremely trustworthy and able to manage her work and projects while inspiring the full-time and undergraduate students with whom she works to create high-quality work.”

For being nominated as Employee of the Month, Kirsten will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event and use of a designated parking space. The Staff Advisory Council congratulated Kirsten by providing snacks and fare for the Employee of the Month to enjoy with peers and department members in celebration.
