Repairs on a chilled water line may impact a campus walkway and cooling capabilities across the Dodge Campus at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).
UNO Facilities and Management will be working to repair a leak in a chilled water line, which provides cooling to buildings across campus. Occupants may notice warmer temperatures within buildings until the leak is repaired.
The leak is located on the east side of the Criss Library. Portions of the walkway near the southeast corner of the Criss Library may be limited at times to allow for excavation work.
Repairs began as soon as possible and crews aim to wrap up the project by Saturday, May 30. Cooling should be restored to buildings in time for the lifting of some campus access restrictions and additional faculty and staff return to campus.
