Remembering William Petrowski

The Maverick community is mourning the loss of UNO retiree William Petrowski.
Petrowski passed away on Thursday, July 2; he was 88 years old at the time of his passing.
While at UNO, Petrowski was a professor in the Department of History from September 1966, up until his retirement in September of 1997.
He is survived by his wife Shirley.
The UNO flag will be lowered in Petrowski's honor at a later date.
