University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) College of Business Administration Dean Michelle Trawick, Ph.D., had been with the college less than two months when the COVID-19 pandemic altered the way Mavericks learn, teach, and work.
Trawick sat down with UNO Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., for the latest installment of Maverick Minute to discuss how her early UNO experience illuminated how committed her college was to the success of current and future students, the value of the college to Omaha’s business community, and what the college is capable of achieving.
“We have worked very hard to make our campus, our College of Business Administration, feel as welcoming, as safe, and attractive for students as possible,” Trawick said “So, we did everything we could to build upon the momentum that was already there, and ensure that students wanted to take classes with our incredible faculty.”
Trawick assumed the role of Dean of the UNO College of Business Administration in February 2020. Trawick comes from Western Kentucky University (WKU), where she served as the Associate Provost for Faculty and Academic Excellence. Visit the UNO news center to learn more.
