Flag Lowering for Marvil Summerfield

The UNO flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in memory of UNO retiree Marvil Summerfied, who passed away on Sept. 10, 2020, at the age of 79.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in memory of UNO retiree Marvil Summerfield, who passed away on Sept. 10, 2020 at the age of 79.

Marvil had a 14-year career at UNO, working as an accounting clerk for the Payroll department. She retired from UNO in 1999.

Services for Marvil were held in Omaha on Oct. 4, 2020.

The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Marvil's loved ones during this difficult time.
