On Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 A.M.-1 P.M., you will have an opportunity to engage in constructive dialogues as a united campus community through the Post-Results Processing Fair.
About the Virtual Spaces
Led by faculty and staff discussion facilitators, Maverick students will have six options for live, virtual spaces to process their emotions, hopes, questions, and concerns alongside those with shared experiences.
Additionally, there will be two rooms specifically for connecting with student government representatives and campus administrators.
All rooms are a space for processing. If you are interested in connecting with people beyond this space for future processing sessions and/or organizing activism, let your facilitator know before you leave the space. The facilitators will connect with you via email about resources you are interested in pursuing.
Space Norms
Each space will have general group norms that all participants must adhere to while in the room. This includes, but not limited to:
- Be respectful
- Assume best intentions
- One person speaks at a time
- Take space; Make space
- Progress over perfection
Please note that by entering particular rooms you will be sharing with other participants identities that you may hold. We encourage all students who engage with the rooms to hold confidentiality for other participants. The facilitators will be responsible for reporting any information shared that requires action such as a Title IX disclosure.
