Flag Lowering for Mike Milone
The UNO flag will be lowered on Friday, Nov. 6, in memory of UNO retiree Mike Milone, who passed away on Oct. 18 at the age of 72.

Mike passed away on Oct. 18, 2020 and was 72 at the time of his passing.
Joining UNO in 1989, Mike spent 25 years with UNO Food Services, first as a manager and then as director.
Mike is survived by his wife, Margaret, who also worked at UNO, as well as his sons Paul (Catherine) and Phil; daughters Kathleen Murphy-Darveau and Kelly Peterson; his sister Pam Hooper (Dennis); stepchildren Sandy and Allan Walschin, Dan and Niki Rogert, and Susan Rogert; and numerous grandchildren, grea-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials for Mike are asked to be donated to the UNO General Scholarship Fund.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Mike's loved ones during this difficult time.
