UNO-UNMC Emergency Management Director Finalist Presentations

Virtual public presentations have been scheduled for the four finalists for the director of emergency management position at UNO and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
- Diane Mack, Thursday, 11 A.M. (Completed)
Mack has previous experience in leading university emergency management. She is currently a business continuity and emergency crisis planning consultant and is a Team Rubicon volunteer. - Kent Studnicka, Friday, 10 A.M.
Studnicka previously worked with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is currently the chief of emergency management for Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. - Jacob Babb, Dec. 18, 10 A.M.
Babb has served in emergency management roles in the U.S. Air Force. He is currently director of emergency management at Nellis Air Force Base. - Tonya Ngotel, Dec. 18, 2 P.M.
Ngotel has previous experience in leading emergency management in Nebraska. As the director of exercise programs in the UNMC Center for Preparedness Education, she currently serves as one of UNMC's Incident Commanders.
The director, emergency management position oversees all emergency management planning, policies, and procedures for both the UNO and UNMC campuses. The director also serves as the university representative for local, state, and national emergency meetings.
