U.S., Nebraska Flags Lowered to Honor Pearl Harbor Anniversary
Governor Pete Ricketts has announced that all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to be flown at half-staff on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

On Friday, Dec. 4, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts announced that all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to be flown at half-staff on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 in honor of Pearl Harbor Day.
Flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset this day.
The attack on Pearl Harbor took place on Dec. 7, 1941 and initiated the United States' entry into World War II.
Faculty and students from UNO have played a part in identifying service members who lost their lives in the attack through the CoRA project housed in the College of Information Science & Technology.
