Flag Lowering for Daniel Allen

The UNO flag will be lowered today in memory of Allen, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 64.

UNO flag lowered near the Pep Bowl

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Wednesday, March 31, in memory of UNO retiree Daniel Allen.

Daniel passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 64. He began his time at UNO in 2002 and retired in 2009.

During his time at UNO Daniel was a member of the Custodial Services staff.

The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Daniel’s loved ones during this time.
