This is a reminder that if you are using a Symantec antivirus software provided by the University of Nebraska, the antivirus solution was decommissioned about six months ago.
Replacement Tool
We have a replacement tool called Cortex XDR, which is a requirement as a Symantec replacement for university-managed devices. You may use Cortex XDR for personal use.
Getting Software Updates
One thing you can do to make sure updates are taking place is log in to the university VPN. Find out more information here on accessing the VPN remotely.
