Flag Lowering for Lepree Carroll-Fansler
The UNO flag will be lowered Thursday, April 29, in honor of UNO student Lepree Carroll-Fansler, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 23.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Thursday, April 29, in memory of UNO student Lupree Carroll-Fansler.
Lepree passed away on April 2, 2021 at the age of 23.
At the time of her passing, Lepree was pursuing a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies degree and will be honored with a posthumous degree this May. A veteran-affiliated student, Lupree was also a part of the Office of Military and Veteran Services family.
Lepree is survived by her son, Aydriez; her parents, Albert and Melody Brown; grandparents, George and Faith Carroll; uncle, Robert Carroll; cousin, Devonne Carroll; and many friends and classmates.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Lepree’s loved ones during this time.
