Congratulations to UNO NSSLHA/Collegiate Sertoma!
The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) has awarded the NSSLHA Chapter at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with 2021 Gold Chapter Honors.
National NSSLHA Chapter Honors are awarded to affiliated NSSLHA chapters that demonstrate an outstanding effort to support National NSSLHA’s mission to inspire, empower, and support students in communication sciences and disorders programs.
"The 2020-2021 academic year brought many firsts for us as an organization. Our members continued to show leadership within the community and dedicated time to ensuring we were still able to safely participate in events with our community partners, advocate, and bring awareness to our future professions. We utilized online platforms throughout the year and were able to successfully hold virtual fundraisers, events, and opportunities to grow and learn more about the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology.”
- Leigha Ford, UNO NSSLHA/Collegiate Sertoma 2020-2021 Chapter President
