Beginning Tuesday, March 1, on a “Bonus Day”, the gates to Lot D along University Drive North will be opened, and the divider between Lot D and Lot E will be closed. A sign at the entrance of Lot D will indicate that it is a “Bonus Day”, and anyone with a valid UNO permit will be permitted to park in Lot D.
About Bonus Days
"Bonus Days" are not guaranteed, and the daily availability of this lot is dependent upon campus events.
On “Bonus Days”, the gates will be opened at 7 A.M. and closed by noon to prepare the lot for evening events starting after 5 P.M. Vehicles will still be able to exit after noon.
Parking and Transit Services will update the status each day on the Parking Lot and Road Closure webpage.
Parking and Transit Services appreciates the collaboration with the CEC, Strauss, and Criss Library leadership and operations teams to make this option available to our campus community when demand for reserved visitor event parking is low.
Purchasing Permits
Valid UNO permits can be purchased at the Parking Services Building on Scott Campus, or online at the MavPARK portal. If you already have a surface or garage permit you do not need to purchase an additional permit to use lot D on "Bonus Days."
