As part of its founding charge, UNO's General Education committee is responsible for the on-going review, assessment, and modification of the University's General Education curriculum. The General Education committee has initiated a conversation across campus about the future of UNO's General Education curriculum because there have been countless changes in our students, the world, and higher education since the current program was established in 2010.
We want your input:
Take the Survey
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to participate in a short survey to share their input about the General Education program. This will inform potential changes to the program that may be considered and discussed throughout campus during the 2022-2023 academic year.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Please direct any questions about this survey to Matt Tracy, Ph.D., at mtracy@unomaha.edu. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Attend Campus Forums
There is also an opportunity to participate in one of two virtual open forums hosted by UNO’s General Education committee to learn more about this process and share your feedback about the existing general education curriculum.
They will be held on Zoom on April 18 at 9 A.M. and on April 21 at 3 P.M.
Please consider joining colleagues and students from across campus at one of the forums to share your thoughts and perspectives. Simply click on one of the links below on the day of the forums to join the conversation.
