Flag Lowering for Barbara Berenson

The UNO flag will be lowered on Wednesday, May 11, in memory of Barbara Berenson, a UNO retiree who passed away on Jan. 2, 2022.

UNO flag lowered to half staff

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Wednesday, May 11, in memory of UNO retiree Barbara Berenson.

Barbara passed away on Jan. 2, 2022. She started at UNO in December 1969 and continued until her retirement in August 1991. While at UNO Barbara worked as a member of UNO Human Resources.

The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Barbara's loved ones during this time.
