Flag Lowering for Barbara Carter
The UNO flag will be lowered on Thursday, July 21, in memory of Barbara Carter, a member of the University of Nebraska System's accounting team located on the UNO campus.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Thursday, July 21, in memory of University of Nebraska employee Barbara Carter.
Barbara passed away on Sunday, July 10.
Joining the University of Nebraska System in 1981, Barbara worked in accounting, most recently as a payment operations associate located on the UNO campus.
During her 40-year tenure, Barbara also worked out of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and through the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus.
Services will be held Friday, July 22, at Salem Baptist Church, 3131 Lake Street Omaha, NE 68111. A viewing will take place from 10-11 A.M, followed by services at 11 A.M.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Barbara's loved ones during this time.
