The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Feb. 7, in memory of Baxter Arena employee Bruce Glenn Ruhge, who recently passed away at the age of 63.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Ruhge and Joan Ruhge (Place) of Avoca; and his brother Mark Norris. He is survived by his wife Lynette Ruhge; his children, Chelsea Navarrette (Sean) and Tyson Ruhge (Laura); his grandchildren, Theo, Eloise Navarrette and Damian Ruhge; his family, Bruce, Lynette and Chelsea; his sister Janie Seperich (Scott); his siblings-in-law, Joyce Cronin (Jim), Sharon Wilkins and Mark Weishahn (Julie); and his father-in-law Richard Weishahn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and a celebration of life was held on Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Braman Mortuary - Southwest Chapel.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Bruce's loved ones during this time.
