Flag Lowering for David Kline

The UNO flag will be lowered on Monday, Aug. 7, in memory of retiree David Kline.

The UNO flag lowered, blowing in the breeze while on a flag pole.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Monday, Aug. 7, in memory of David Kline, who recently passed away at the age of 71.

David started his career at UNO on Feb. 9, 1981, and retired from his role as a Maintenance Engineer in TV/Radio on March 2, 2022.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Erin (Dan) Berger and Jen (Jason) Moore; granddaughter, Lauren; sisters: Kim O’Mara, Toby Carl, Gina Larson; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on July 22 at Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler's West Center Chapel.

The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with David's loved ones during this time.
