The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Wednesday, May 15, in memory of retiree Melba Acheson, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Melba’s loved ones during this time. Read the full obituary.

About Melba

Melba started her career at UNO on Dec. 2, 1991. She retired from her role as manager of the then College of Continuing Studies on June 10, 2005.

Visitation and Interment

Melba's Visitation will be Monday, May 20, from 1 to 3 P.M. at the West Center Chapel (7805 West Center Road).
