The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in memory of retiree Susan Jacobs Johnson, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Susan’s loved ones during this time.

About Susan

Susan was an Associate Professor Emerita in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She began her time at UNO on Jan. 2, 1990, retired Sept. 1, 2011, and was later rehired as a temporary instructor from Sept. 2, 2012, to Sept. 1, 2013.

Celebrating Susan's Life

A celebratory gathering of Susan's friends and family will take place on Friday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 7:30 P.M. at First-Plymouth Church's Pilgrim Hall, 2000 D Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
