The University of Nebraska at Omaha's (UNO) Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications (MarComm) is excited to announce an important upgrade to UNO's mobile experience. After carefully evaluating UNO’s mobile app, it has been decided to sunset the app and introduce a streamlined, digital resource hub that better meets the needs of UNO students, faculty, staff, and the community.
About the Hub
The new resource hub offers several key advantages, including enhanced accessibility and ease of use. With all essential UNO resources in one place, organized by audience—students, faculty, staff, and community members—this hub is designed to be intuitive and efficient on any device, providing a smooth, reliable user experience.
This new in-house solution enables easier updates, allowing quick adaptations to user needs while supporting long-term improvements. The mobile app will cease operation by the end of the year to allow for a smooth transition.
Where to Find the Hub
You can use the links below to select the option that fits you best, or find them near the top of any page of the UNO website.
To save a web page as a tile on your phone, open the website in your browser, then tap the "share" or "menu" icon, and select the option "Add to Home Screen" - this will create a shortcut to the web page on your home screen, essentially acting as a tile you can easily access. You can also save the page as a bookmark on your favorite web browser, either on your phone or your desktop.
