The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Friday, Dec. 20, in memory of retiree Thalia Alberts, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Thalia's loved ones during this time.

About Thalia

Thalia started her career at UNO on Feb. 27, 2006. She retired from her role as specialist in International Programs on Sept. 1, 2015, and then was rehired until her re-retirement on Sept. 1, 2019.
