Flag Lowering for Barry Ray

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Friday, Feb. 14, in memory of retiree Barry Ray, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Barry's loved ones during this time.


About Barry

Barry started his career at UNO on Jan. 24, 1975. He retired from his role as a public safety officer on June 3, 2014.

He was preceded by parents, Lance and Shirley Faye. Survived by wife, Paula; sons, David and Daniel (Yulissa); granddaughters, Poppie, Lily, and Giannina; brother, Rick (Karen); sister, Marcia (Jerry) Bender; many other nieces and nephews.
