Submit Nominations for KUDOS and Employee of the Month

UNO Human Resources (HR) is seeking nominations for the KUDOS and Employee of the Month awards! Going forward, nomination forms for the awards will be available through the HR Hub.

KUDOS Award

The President and the Board of Regents have established the KUDOS Awards to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding employees from across the four University of Nebraska campuses. These awards are particularly intended to spotlight employees that deserve special recognition for going above and beyond the call of duty. The KUDOS Awards are presented at meetings of the Board of Regents.

Guidelines for KUDOS

• Only individuals who are classified as regular Managerial/Professional employees and regular Office/Support employees are eligible to receive the KUDOS award

• Nominee should demonstrate the UNO Values.

• Nominee must be employed at UNO for one year or longer.

• Nominations will be kept on file for one year and will be considered with all nominations for consideration of the KUDOS award.

Employee of the Month

An Employee of the Month is someone at UNO who goes above and beyond expectations, with exemplary interpersonal skills, adaptability, and knowledge of their job. Recipients will receive $200 from the Chancellor and $150 from SAC added to their paycheck (minus taxes), a certificate, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, an Employee of the Month cup, and a special parking space for the month.

Guidelines for Employee of the Month

• Only individuals who are classified as regular Managerial/Professional employees and regular Office/Support employees are eligible to receive the Employee of the Month award

• Nominee must be employed at UNO for one year or longer.

• Nominations will be kept on file for 90 days and will be considered with all nominations for Employee of the Month.
